girly night

i was invited to a friend's jewelry party tonight.  i planned on taking madelyn and thought she'd love it.  i don't want to forget this day.  my little lady is growing too fast.  i know, they all say it.  but they say it, because it's true. 
i got a shower in while becket was napping earlier in the day.  i got out and blaise says, 'you smell good, mommy'.  well, thank you.  :)
went out for lunch with mitch and the kids and got home to get ready.  got ready.  wasn't sure about my outfit....but it was comfy and pink.  i walk out and blaise says, 'you look beautiful mommy'.  oh he kills me.  i felt pretty all night.  and i didn't even care what i looked like.  his innocent sweetness.  i want him to stay this way forever.  i want him to always be so from-the-heart.
we arrange for a photo shoot at walmart just to get a pic of me and her together.  turns out adorable...can't believe i haven't done this all along.  ugh. 

went out for dinner.  she orders..........a pb&j.  and picks out a yellow frosted flower cookie with a pink candy center.  she devours it the usual way, toppings, frosting, cookie.  :)  she saves a little for the car ride.
we get to the party and she tries on just about everything....even though the kid jewelry wasn't even at the show.  she's adorable.  she played with the puppy and the 4th grade girl that was her size....she made conversation easily.  what a doll.  had some cherry tomatoes and she said they taste just like from grandpa's garden.   and celery....i hate celery.  and a mini bottle of water. :)  we were done ordering and she was ready to go too :)
we made it in time to see francis' football game.  got a sweet picture. 

stopped at the gas station to use the restroom and get a treat.  juice and nutter butters. 

love my girl.  love my life.  right now.
